It’s cranberry season! Did you know that, along with other healthful benefits, eating cranberries can help your cracked, dry hands become nice and soft. A friend, who is also a Pastor’s wife, told me about this several years ago, when I was complaining about my chronically winter dry hands.
Eating dried cranberries, jellied cranberry sauce or drinking cranberry juice every day can get quite expensive and, personally, I’m not very fond of any of them. Besides that they have a lot of sugar too. At my friend’s suggestion I started taking a single “Cranberry Fruit” capsule daily. Within a couple of months, my hands were soft again.
A new study shows that cranberry juice might also lower blood pressure by a point or two. Who knows? Cranberry fruit capsules might be worth a try!
